Plagiarism
Plagiarism is a serious offense in scientific publishing, as it undermines the integrity and credibility of research. Plagiarism is strictly forbidden by JArUMS to ensure the originality of published work. In JARUMS, by submitting the article, the authors agree that the publishers have the legal right to take appropriate action against the authors if plagiarism or fabricated information is discovered.
Plagiarism includes fully copying text from other sources, replication ideas, imageries, or data from other sources, reproducing text from your personal prior published works, and making an idea with slightly altered language. The consequence of plagiarism is the rejection of the manuscript: If plagiarism is detected during the review process, the editor will likely reject the manuscript outright, or retraction of published articles as appropriate and JArUMS will follow COPE guidelines. This can damage the author's reputation and career.
