Ethical considerations
Ethics approval policy for scientific journals ensures research adheres to ethical guidelines and protects participants well-being and JArUMS follows the guidelines of the COPE to protect participants trust in research and enhance the credibility of research.

Ethics approval is mandatory for research involving:
 Human participants (surveys, interviews, clinical trials)
Animal subjects
Vulnerable populations (children, pregnant women, people with disabilities)
Collection of sensitive data (medical records, genetic information)
These considerations should be mentioned in the Methods section. Consent is required from all adults participating in the study, and in the case of children and dependents, it must be obtained from their legal guardian. Mentioning the source confirming the ethical considerations of the study is necessary. When using laboratory animals, it is necessary to observe the relevant standard regulations.
- Mentioning the code of ethics in research is mandatory in all human and animal studies (except review research).
-It is mandatory to mention the ID number of the 16-digit clinical trial license obtained from the IRCT system.
- Please state that informed consent was obtained from all human adult participants and the parents or legal guardians of minors. Include the name of the appropriate institutional review board that approved the project.
 - Indicate in the text that the maintenance and care of experimental animals complies with National Institutes of Health guidelines for the humane use of laboratory animals, or those of your Institute or agency.
