The manuscript should not be submitted to more than one journal for simultaneous attention. The submitted work must be unique and should not have been published elsewhere in any form or language (partially or in full). In the JARUMS journal, it is necessary to complect commitment letter signed by all authors. Completing this commitment form is mandatory and after signing by the authors, it should be uploaded to the submission page.
In the JARUMS journal, all authors which names are in the manuscript agree to be responsible for all aspects of the work in ensuring that questions related to the accuracy or integrity of any part of the work are appropriately investigated and resolved.
The assigned corresponding author acts on behalf of all co-authors and confirms that questions related to the truth of any part of the work manuscript are correctly addressed.
Also, the Corresponding Author is answerable for confirming that the authors list and the related author order has been accepted by all the authors before submission of the manuscript. In addition, managing all communication between the Journal and all co-authors, before and after publication is the responsibility of the corresponding author too. The first affiliation for each author must be the organization where most of their work was completed. Related affiliations can not be reorganized or altered after publication of the article.
Authors are powerfully recommended to confirm the precise author group and the author's order at submission. Any changes to the author list after submission, such as a change in the author's order or the removal or adding of authors, must be approved by every author and the corresponding author is responsible for it. Also, any changes to authorship requested after manuscript acceptance will result in a delay in publication. All authors must complete and sign followed form “Change of Authorship Form” for authorship changes after manuscript acceptance.
Please make sure that the names of all authors are present and correctly spelled, and that addresses and affiliations are current. Authors are powerfully suggested to use their ORCID ID when submitting an article for consideration or acquire an ORCID ID via the submission process.
If there is any doubt of misbehavior or suspected fraud, the journals and also Publisher will do a check following related guidelines. If, after an examination, there are main concerns, the authors will be contacted under their given email address and allowed to describe the issue.
Authors are invited to disclosure of interests that are directly or indirectly associated to the submitted work. Also, JARUMS are requested to indicate the research work grants and related funding organizations and any research support by institutes in the submitted work. The above should be mentioned in a declaration before the reference citation list at the end of the manuscript.
Articles are reviewed in a double-blind manner, which means that during the reviewing process the names of the authors are unknown to the reviewers and vice versa. The Journal of Ardabil University of Medical Sciences follows a maximum of six to eight weeks for the peer reviewing process. Each article is sent to a maximum of three peer reviewers. The referee may comment accept as is or with revision or reject. All the submitted manuscripts are also evaluated for plagiarism checks. Two duplicates of the revised manuscript are sent to the Editors-in-Chief for more evaluation. The ending result is completed based on the referees' comments and the specific editorial board recommendation. The Editor-in-Chief evaluates the comments of reviewers and in case of clear discrepancies in the comments. The Journal of Ardabil University of Medical Sciences follows a maximum of six to eight weeks for the peer reviewing process.

Plagiarism is strictly forbidden by JARUMS, and by submitting the article for publication the authors agree that the publishers have the legal right to take appropriate action against the authors if plagiarism or fabricated information is discovered. Plagiarism includes fully copying text from other sources, replication ideas, imageries, or data from other sources, Reproducing text from your personal prior published works, and making an idea with slightly altered language. Also, if plagiarism is sensed after publication, we reserve the right to issue a correction or retract the paper, as appropriate.
